The Bond Club of Philadelphia represents a broad cross-section of the region’s investment community across all levels of seniority and areas of the industry. While originally founded by bond practitioners, today its members span both the buy and sell side across all asset classes and firm types, from global managers to local boutiques. Our diverse membership and shared curiosity make the Club a unique organization; if you’re interested in joining, please complete the application below and we’ll be in touch.

Annual Membership Dues are $150 and $50 for Students

Education

The Bond Club offers a regular schedule of educational events which emphasize fixed income, economic, and general market related subjects. Past speakers include Dr. Mark Zandi, President of Moody’s Economy.com; Marc Chandler, Global Head of Currency Strategy at Brown Brothers Harriman; Dr. Patrick Harker, President of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve; Ed Finn, Editor of Barron’s; Dr. William Dunkelberg, Professor of Economics and Head of NFIB; Hank Smith, CIO of Haverford Trust Company; Tom Doe, President of Municipal Market Analytics; and “A History of the Philadelphia Investment Community” Panel.

Networking

The Bond Club hosts a series of social gatherings throughout the year. These events, as well as our educational presentations, offer members the opportunity to network and meet other investment professionals in the greater Philadelphia area.

Community Service

The Bond Club has funded a 501(c)3 “Bond Club of Philadelphia Scholarship Fund.” Over the years, the Fund has awarded $2,500 to $5,000 to a local college student majoring in Finance or Economics and the opportunity for the recipient to meet with various Bond Club members at their place of work for a “behind the scenes” look at the business.
